Dungeon Crawling - pt. 2
The memory of the failed dungeon sticks in Shoto's mind as he leans forward, pulling the black sock up his foot. Not really accustomed to failure, he replays the scenario in his head over and over, thinking about what to do differently the next time around. If the minotaur that submitted him last time around were either distracted or dead that would be ideal, but nothing ever comes easy, does it. Flipping through his wallet, Shoto counts a few bills and sighs; new gear would be nice but this is barely enough for a single piece. Maybe there's something to do in town that pays. Slipping his shoes on, Shoto jogs out the door towards the center of town, passing by a few shuttered buildings with scratch marks on the wooden planks.
