The full moon looming overhead illuminates the barren trees with pale light as Kainen walks down the dirt road, dust trailing in his wake. Flipping through his phone, he glances at the one bar of service while reading down the directions sent to him. 

"Written directions? In this day and age?" he thinks to himself, turning his head and searching for landmarks. The page of vague instructions tell him to look for the crooked tree, but every tree looks gnarled and twisted. Strolling a bit further, Kainen begins to wonder if he was pranked, when a giant bent tree comes into view.

"This has to be it." Kai mutters under his breath, checking his phone one more time. Turning off the path, he strolls past the tree and into the dead woods, on the lookout for any more signs. A wolf howls off in the distance as Kai wanders past the trees, and eventually thumping bass begins to emanate through the air, bouncing off the faded bark.

Following the sound, Kainen pushes through some browning foliage until flashing lights start to shine through the darkness, guiding the brat to a dilapidated house surrounded by dancing partygoers.

"Heyyy, Kai! Glad you could make it, you find the place okay?"

A voice from behind, followed by a clap on the back, startles Kainen, his heel digging into the dirt as he spins around. 

"Shit! Jesus, you scared me. Yeah, I only got lost for an hour or so. Who the hell wrote these directions? Couldn't you put some signs out on the path or something?" Kai gripes, the cat ears sitting atop his head twitching in annoyance. The voice sounds familiar, but he can't put a face to it in the darkness and blinding strobes. 

"Heh, I don't know, I was in charge of setting up the gear here. Anyway, you're here now, go have some fun. Dance floor's all outside, it's a little more relaxed in the house. I gotta run, but I'm sure I'll run into you later."

The mystery boy runs off into the crowd, leaving Kai alone and fidgeting with his costume. Pushing past a few sweaty bodies on the edge of the writhing mass of people, he makes his way to the front of the old house, slipping inside and closing the door behind him. 

Looking through the rooms on the ground floor, every wall seems to be lined with faded couches and lounge chairs in various states of disrepair. The half dressed partiers don't seem to mind, though, drunk as they are and lying on top of each other. 

"Hey, you want to come play some games with us? You look like you could use a drink and some fun." a girl asks, bouncing up to Kainen and handing him a plastic cup of mystery liquid.

"I sure could, thank you so much." he replies, gulping down a mouthful of what seems to be just different kinds of alcohol mixed together, "Gah, this is terrible! Who made this?" 

"Oh, we just have a big punch bowl that everyone keeps dumping things into. Who knows what's even in there anymore." she laughs, pulling him by the arm into another room and waving to her friends, "I found one more! Let's get those cards out."

Sitting down with five others, Kai watches the girl set up the table to play King's Cup, placing a red Solo cup in the center and spreading a deck of cards around it. Once everyone's settled in, Kainen looks around at the other players before the game starts, his eyes accidentally locking with a shy looking boy across from him. Darting his eyes away, the boy tries to hide behind the girl to his right, cheeks starting to flush pink. 

"Alright, let's get fucked up!" the same girl yells, grabbing a card and showing it to the group, "Three, that's me!"

The whole circle grabs cards one after another, drinking according to the rules, until only a few cards remain. Holding onto the table for balance, Kainen watches the nervous boy from earlier pick a card from the table and lift it up.

"Jack, that's 'never have I ever', right?" he asks, showing the circle, "So, never have I ever kissed someone."

The remaining four all groan in unison before gulping down a mouthful of whatever they have in their cups, the guy next to him grabbing the next card as Kai finishes off his drink. The game thankfully ends not long after, and without anyone vomiting, even. Not even the girl who dragged Kainen into the group, who had to drink the cup in the center.

"Hey! Why don't- Why don't we play spin the bottle since Alex here hasn't popped his cherry yet? We can help him, uh... We can kiss him!" she exclaims, grabbing one of many empty bottles of vodka lying around.

"I don't think anyone wants to do that, we're not ten years old anymore!" Alex protests, glancing at Kainen.

"Oh, I don't know. I think it could be fun." Kai smiles, sitting on the floor. 

Grabbing him by the sleeves, the rest of the group pulls Alex to the floor, pressuring him into the game and handing him another drink.

"I'll go first, because I'm such a slut!" the original girl giggles, looking around the circle and blowing kisses at everyone. Placing the bottle in the center, she spins it a little too hard, sending it into the feet of a brunette girl across from her.

"Jessie, what the fuck? Keep it in the middle, Jesus." she complains, rolling it back forcefully.

"Sorry, my bad! Alright, let's try again." Jessie laughs, gently spinning the bottle this time. Everyone watches it spin a few times, until it comes to a stop pointing at Kainen. 

"Pucker up, cutie..." she growls playfully, crawling over and resting a hand on his bare shoulder, bringing her face in close. Pressing her lips to his, she gives a slow, long, kiss before pushing off. Instead of focusing on the girl currently slobbering over his mouth, Kai watches Alex intently, noticing him wince in discomfort at Katie's awkward kiss.

"Alright, my turn!" Kai calls out, pushing Katie back after a few seconds of locking lips. Reaching for the bottle, he gives it a good spin in the center of the circle, watching it slowly come to a stop at Alex with a little help from his foot.

The group gives a collective "Ooooo..." like children when they see the bottle pointing at the now panicking boy, completely ignoring Kainen's interference.

"Wait, that doesn't count! He moved it with his foot!" Alex objects, shuffling back on his hands.

"I didn't see anything, did you guys?" Katie smirks, looking to the others who nod in agreement.

Stalking towards Alex like a predator, Kainen grabs him by the collar of his faded t-shirt and pulls him close, staring into the boy's wide green eyes. Kai's lips hover barely an inch away from Alex's as they continue their standoff, the drunken group around them starting to chant 'kiss him!' in hushed shouts. Alex's shallow breaths fall gently on Kainen's mouth while they stare into each other, his lips eventually inching closer until they meet in an awkward kiss. 

Pushing the nervous boy to the floor, Kai takes over and embraces Alex passionately, his tongue just barely pushing past Alex's lips to tease him. Keeping him pinned for a solid minute, Kainen emphatically makes out with Alex, the rest of the group cheering loudly. Alex does his best to return Kai's kisses, enthusiastic but unskilled. That doesn't matter much to the blonde femboy, though, being able to be someone's first is always a treat. Eventually, Alex breaks the kiss to take a breath, and Kainen sits up between his legs, crawling back to his spot.

"Oh my god, look that fucking mountain in his pants!" 

Covering her mouth, the brunette points at Alex's jeans, something beneath the fabric visibly swelling. 

"Wait! It was just- I'm not gay!" he protests, covering his crotch and scrambling to his feet, "I need to go!"

"Wait, don't leave!" Jessie calls out to the fleeing boy, "I want to see it!"

Leaving the rest of the group behind, Kai trails after Alex as he pushes through the random partiers, watching him dart into an empty storeroom. Kainen waits a minute outside the door, mingling with the passers by, then slips into the room himself, closing the door behind him.

"Hey, are you alright? he asks, sitting beside Alex on a dusty mattress, "I'm sorry if I embarrassed you back there."

"It's alright. I just panicked..." Alex mumbles, "I wasn't expecting it myself, and Jessie seeing it just made it worse."

"You have a thing for her, huh?"

"Yeah, I've been crazy about her since middle school. Never did anything with anyone else because I wasn't interested, but I couldn't ask her out. Too scared."

Sliding closer, Kainen rests a reassuring hand on Alex's knee, squeezing lightly.

"Hey, don't be so down. She seemed like she was into you before you ran off."

"I guess, but she'd just laugh at me. I've never even kissed anyone before tonight, there's no way I'd live up to her expectations..." Alex murmurs, hanging his head.

"I'd be happy to teach you some things, if that's what you're worried about." Kainen reassures him, giving a soft smile, "All you need is some confidence!"

"I'd say sure, but I'm not gay..." Alex sighs, "I've never been with a guy."

"Well, you've never been with a girl, either, right?" Kai whispers, giving a sly smirk and leaning in, "Besides, it sure looked like you enjoyed my kiss."

"Yeah, it felt nice I guess..." 

"Then let me make you feel even better."
