The bumps in the uneven dirt road rattle your coffee cup as you drive towards your family's cabin, foliage brushing and scratching at the truck. Sunlight beams gently through the leaves overhead and throws shadows across the path, the birds chirping outside mixing with the garbled radio. Humming along to a static filled rendition of Piano Man, you check the map unfolded in the passenger seat on when to turn off. A large oak splits the road behind a broken sign, forcing you to take a second look at the wrinkled paper. Thank god you got all this ahead of time, you'd be wandering all day without directions. After a minute of deciphering the map, you turn left and drive deeper into the woods, sunlight fading as the trees seem to grow taller and intentionally block the sky.
